Mr Black is an Australian craft coffee liqueur created in 2013 by designer Tom Baker and distilling legend Philip Moore. It was born out of a love for coffee and an ambition to create an honest alternative to classic sweet coffee liqueurs. It's made from select Arabica sourced from Colombia and Ethiopia and is prepared using the cold brew method, which ensures a smooth, distinctly coffee-like profile without bitter acidity or burnt flavours.
Mr Black has the aroma of freshly roasted coffee, the taste of dark chocolate and caramel, with a lingering, smooth finish. Its authentic character has earned it a place as an ideal ingredient for Espresso Martinis, as well as other modern cocktails. The liqueur is vegan, gluten-free, ethically sourced and currently available in Europe with an alcohol content of 21%.
