fettercairn
Fettercairn is a single malt Scotch whisky from Highland, produced in one of the oldest legal distilleries in Scotland - founded in 1824. The brand is known for its innovative approach to cooling stills, which greatly influences the final character of the distillate. The stills in the distillery are equipped with a unique cooling ring located on the outside of the still, through which cold water flows during distillation. This flows down the outside of the boiler arm and creates condensation of the vapours already at the top, allowing only the finest and purest alcohol components to pass through.
This process is a rarity in the whisky world and results in an elegant, fruity spirit with distinctive notes of tropical fruit, honey and vanilla. Fettercairn whisky is matured in carefully selected oak casks, often bourbon casks, or in finishes from special wine or rum casks that enhance the natural sweetness and smoothness of the spirit.
The brand's main products include Fettercairn 12 Y.O. with a classic tropical profile, limited editions of Fettercairn 16 Y.O. with a different cask composition each year, and exclusive editions from the Warehouse Collection category. Fettercairn is a whisky for those who appreciate the combination of tradition, technical precision and a subtly modern expression in one glass.
