château d'esclans
Château d'Esclans is located in the heart of Provence and is one of the most prestigious names in the world of rosé wine. The winery became famous thanks to the vision of Sacha Lichin, who took over in 2006 with the aim of creating the best rosé in the world. It was here that the iconic Whispering Angel was created - a wine that redefined the global perception of rosé and became a symbol of elegance, freshness and sophistication.
Château d'Esclans grows its grapes at altitudes of up to 350 metres above sea level on soils rich in limestone, which gives the wines their mineral structure and freshness. Grenache is the dominant variety, complemented by Cinsault, Rolle and other local varieties. The winery's philosophy combines Burgundian precision with Mediterranean charm - the emphasis is on selective harvesting, gentle pressing and partial aging in wooden barrels for some cuvées. Château d'Esclans thus represents a new standard for Provençal rosé: expressive, finely structured wines with an emphasis on terroir and artisanal quality.
